Cooper is a one year and nine month old purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback who is affectionate, playful, and highly intelligent. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and takes daily fluoxetine for mild anxiety, which he responds to well. Cooper has completed obedience classes and knows a variety of commands like sit, spin, twirl, crawl, and more. He's food-motivated and loves to learn. Cooper enjoys walks, hikes, playing tug of war, and socializing with other dogs. He greets new people with tail wags and kisses and has a big, charming personality. He's gentle with children and bonds closely with his people. He has worked with a behavioral trainer for mild anxiety and resource guarding prevention. Although he had one isolated bite incident following a bee sting (likely due to pain), he has shown no ongoing aggressive behavior and continues to be a loving, responsive companion. Cooper would thrive in a home that's active, experienced, and understands the needs of large, intelligent breeds. With structure, love, and consistency, Cooper is truly a wonderful dog ready for his next chapter.
