About Penny

Hi I need help rehoming my dog Penny please. She is 3 years old full bloodhound. We got her from someone back in December but she hasn't and continues to not work out no matter what we try. I'm at the end of my rope I've tried the humane societies and they won't take her ����. She has Lyme disease but has been treated and she has not been spayed yet. The issue I have is I can take her any worse like to the vet to get her nails trimmed and ears cleaned or pretty much anywhere and she'll be fine but the moment somebody comes into our home she acts standoffish. You never really know so I have to keep my eyes on her to make sure she doesn't try to nip. We recently just got a muzzle and tried that to try to acclimate her to people and she gets it off within 2 seconds. She's a lover and would be perfect for a home with older teenagers I have two young kids myself and she is good with them but with other kids constantly coming in the house it seems to annoy her. She needs to go to a home that has plenty of space for her to run being the breed that she is we fenced in our backyard and I take her for walks but I think she definitely needs something more like a farm space. She's looking for her forever home and I want to help her find it any questions please let me know I will send you pictures I'm located in Selkirk New York and appreciate any kind of help you can give me Even if she gets rehome to a rescue that would be awesome
