Lucy is a delightful and energetic dog ready to find her forever home! This friendly girl loves meeting new people and is always up for an adventure. Whether it's a brisk walk in the neighborhood (where she's learning to walk on the leash) or an adventurous hike on a trail, Lucy is a perfect companion for an active lifestyle. After a good run, she's more than happy to snuggle up on the couch with her favorite quilt, often hiding underneath for a cozy nap. Lucy would thrive in a home that enjoys an active lifestyle. She's a playful pup who gets along well with other dogs, but her strength means she needs a sturdy playmate and would do best in a home with older kids. It's important to note that Lucy is unsure about cats and tends to chase them, so a cat-free home is a must. This smart girl is house-trained and will patiently wait to go outside when nature calls. While she knows 'sit,' her excitement often means she won't stay for long! Lucy is also working on her table manners, learning not to beg for food, and her quick wit means she picks up new things with ease. She's crate-trained, though she's not its biggest fan, and she can be a bit vocal with barking at noises. Lucy loves being outdoors and requires a fenced yard for her safety, but a small fence (even one as low as 3 feet high) is fine, as she doesn't try to challenge it. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. Lucy does not have a microchip, and she has no known medical or dietary restrictions.
