Meet Stitch - A Resilient Little Frenchie with a Big Heart! Stitch is a 4-year-old, 18 pound French Bulldog with a face full of wrinkles and a heart full of love. His road to recovery hasn't been easy, he was found as a stray, emaciated and covered in sores, desperately searching for anything that looked like food. But thanks to good care and a lot of love, Stitch is gaining weight, his fur is filling in beautifully, and he's learning that he doesn't need to fight for every bite. Mealtimes are still exciting for Stitch (expect a happy dance!), but he's making great progress in learning that people food isn't for him. He's also come a long way in his potty training. While he still needs supervision and the security of a kennel when unattended, he's showing he's a quick learner with a desire to please. While he is learning he needs a physically fenced yard to get out safely to do his business. Stitch is all about being near his humans. He'll follow you from room to room, snuggling up close when it's time to rest. At night, he sleeps happily in bed with his foster mom, snoring his little Frenchie snore-sometimes a gentle snuffle, sometimes more of a foghorn, so be prepared to love every quirky sound that comes out of him! He's just starting to figure out how leashes work, but because he wants to be close, he's picking it up quickly. When it's playtime, his favorite thing is any round toy-he'll chase it like he's playing his own version of doggy soccer. Stitch is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Now all he needs is a forever home with someone who understands Frenchie love-snorts, snuggles, and all.
