About Milo

Look at this cute little 9 lb. Minpin/Chihuahua mix, he's AMAAAAZING!! Milo: 9 yr old, 9 lbs. black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. Fully vaccinated. In a foster home in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Milo is his name and to know him is to love him! Little 9 lb. Milo was sent to us at IMPS minpinrescue.org by his loving owner who has a health condition and is no longer able to give him the attention he deserves, and he is an exceptionally good boy! Milo is a REALLY smart and adaptable little guy! When he got to his foster home in Carmel Mt. Ranch, all she kept saying is 'he's SUCH a nice, friendly little guy. He's really smart and very well behaved!' From the moment he got to his foster home he settled right in like he's always been there. He understands walk time, time to eat, time to go potty and time to sleep....and this is all in the first 24 hours in the foster home! He is so smart he knows a bunch of commands from the previous owner. He understands a variety of cues including 'pee-pee outside,' 'go pee-pee,' 'in your bed,' 'leave it,' 'go play,' 'eat your food,' 'in,' and 'sit.' he likes to play with toys and his rope toy and he will 'go get it' if you ask him to. Milo is a great little walker! He's great on a leash and wants to keep going! In the evenings Milo LOVES to lay by your feet or next to you on the couch when you are watching tv. When its time to eat, bed time or potty time he lets you know by 'talking' to you. This little boy is not only cute and fun but he's a great communicator, is exceptionally intellegent and observent. At bedtime, Milo intuitively goes into his crate on his own when the lights and TV are turned off. Milo tells you when he wants to go outside to potty and is super excited to go outside on a leash. Milo has a lot of miles left to walk and at only 9 yrs old, this little guy is only middle age. He loves dog parks and likes the attention he gets for his quirky handstand pee at the park! He is fine with other friendly dogs large and small. He loved the female dog he was with in his last home. This sweety will make a great companion for anyone! He would be great with a yard, another dog, a doggie door or an apartment, he's very adaptable. Milo is looking for a great home where he can kick back and enjoy life with you!
