About Bernie

Beautiful male Saint Bernard. His name is Bernie. We were told his birthday was January 18th of this year. We took him in from a bad situation to say the least. He's learned so much since! We've vaccinated him with his puppy shots, he does excellent with going potty outside and will either lightly bark or nudge you to wake you up to go out. He's had 2 sets of deworm treatment, he's been flea treated and we continue to do that. He likes baths And learning to play fetch. He's playful and a big lap dog. Mainly laid back and calm. He is crate trained if needed. Takes slow walks and knows 'sit' before receiving treats. We've spent a lot of time training Bernie on all of these things and know he's intelligent after what he's gone through before us. Downfall, Bernie has small animal instincts as many dogs do and does not understand their size and has had an incident before So we do not recommend he be with a family with small cage like accessible animals of any sort until he is able to learn their not toys and injure/kill them. He's not been around cats so we're unsure on that. Bernie eats 3 times daily as well as a multitude of treats since we took him in and does well with his appetite. Bernie is not microchipped or neutered yet but we'd hope he will be with his forever family. We will pick the right family for Bernie. We have a rehoming fee But We would be willing to discuss our rehome fee accordingly to the right family as well. Bernie needs a wonderful home with lots of attention and patience provided.
