About Tucker

Poor Tucker, his owner ended up in a nursing home, not coming out. Tucker had no where to go so he has ended up in our shelter. He was a pretty sad boy at first, slowly he is warming up to us and ready for a new home. He would do well in a home without small children. He did live with another dog who has already been adopted. Tucker is 60 lbs. He is pretty much housetrained and quiet. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. a fenced area may be required.
