About Max

Max is a sweet and resilient 4-5 year old Chihuahua mix, full of affection and loyalty. He was originally adopted by a single man who became ill and brought him to us before he passed away. Max had been was attacked by a larger dog and needed surgery on his hind leg which we were able to provide. He is as good as new now, but does have a bit of a limp. Max is the definition of a best friend lap dog-he's gentle, loving, and eager to be by your side. Max gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, making him a great addition to just about any home. He's smart, well-mannered, and always ready to give kisses and cuddles. Whether he's snuggling on the couch or following you around with those adoring eyes, Max is happiest just being near his people. This affectionate boy wants nothing more than a forever family to call his own. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will love you endlessly, Max is waiting to meet you! He's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and house trained (but will need a little help in a new environment).
