Maisy is a weaned Mama cat that was dumped in our area a few weeks ago because she was pregnant. When we found her she was malnourished and begging for food. We started feeding her, took her to the Vet, got her shots, tested and vaccinated for leukemia, and later treated for an upper respiratory infection. The vet estimated her to be 9-12 Months. We didn't know she still had kittens, and when we got back from the Vet a Neighbor gave us a box of her babies. She is a sweet girl that never really got the chance to be a kitten. She can be a bit timid at times as she was an outside cat that is new to being indoors. But she's boxed trained, eats well, enjoys snacks, is pretty well behaved, and is just starting to play with toys. She loves cat towers with those sissal/coir ropes to scratch on. Affectionate, often vocal, and wants to be near you. We have been searching rescues/groups, no kill shelters, friends & family, and social media trying to find her a home. We are heartbroken, would love to keep her, but helping her & the kittens has us tapped out both financially and space wise. She deserves a good, loving home & will make a good house cat. Please help Maisy find her home. There's a small $25 adoption fee and she comes with a care package too.
