About Zoe

Zoe's owner passed away last year. We took her in because she had no where to go and there was mention of euthanasia. She is such a lovely sweet dog. Very shy at first and may growl/bark at first but when she gets to know you all she wants is cuddles. The issue we are having is she is food aggressive and won't stop growling at my kids. My kids don't go near her bowl but if they drop food and go to pick it up but she gets to it first she will growl at them. I would say she is good with adults and older kids/teens. I have 4 kids under the age of 7. She is not a fan. Great with cats and other dogs. Does get ear infections (very common for breed) and requires her ears to be flushed/cleaned at least once a week. Loves to lay around and sleep but also loves to run around with the family in creeks and lakes. 100% house broke. Can sit, stay and lay down. Listens to commands and sis very treat motivated.
