About BRYSON

*LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Pensacola, FL* BRYSON is an adorable black and white puppy who came to rescue with his brother and mama after a stranger found them in a heartbreaking situation. Their mama, a little 12 pound Rat Terrier mix, was living on the streets with her babies when someone spotted their owner, a homeless lady, in distress and stopped to help. BRYSON is about 9 weeks old and weighs a little over 4 pounds, but he looks bigger because he's SO fluffy! He has the softest, silkiest fur and we joke about his adorable 'badonkadonk' butt. Watching him waddle and wiggle as he romps and plays is pure entertainment! Our best guess is that he will weigh less than 20 pounds fully grown. BRYSON is a happy, bouncy, kissy ball of energy. He is very active, loves giving kisses...and more kisses... and playing with other dogs. His whole back end wiggles when he's excited and he lights up any room he's in. He'll thrive in an active home with another playful dog to help him burn off that puppy energy and teach him all the good dog skills. A fenced yard isn't required but will be a bonus for this playful, high energy pup once he's done with his puppy shots, and we recommend it! BRYSON has had two sets of puppy shots and his third set will done on August 14th. He can go home now but he needs to be kept inside until after that third set of shots. Please don't underestimate the amount of work that might be! He needs to be constantly supervised and cannot be outside potty trained yet. His last shots are included in his adoption fee and done through us. Until he's fully vaccinated, it's 'no paws on the ground' to keep him safe from parvo. His neuter will be scheduled at our vet when he is 6 months old and that is covered by the rescue. Because BRYSON has pending vet appointments, he is local adoption only which is within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. *No exceptions.
