Meet Tuco Age: 3.5 years | Weight: ~65 lbs Tuco was surrendered by his previous owner in April, and like anyone losing their home and family, he went through a grieving process here at the rescue. It's taken time, but Tuco is finally coming out of his shell and showing the sweet, loyal dog he truly is. At around 3.5 years old, Tuco is a sensitive soul who needs a patient, experienced owner to help him feel safe and confident. He can be fearful of new people at first, but once he gets to know you, he becomes a true velcro dog, thriving on close connection. Tuco would do best in an active home where his owner understands his needs and can give him consistent guidance. He may be able to live with a calm, non-dominant female dog, though he does show some resource guarding around high-value items, so careful introductions and management will be important.
