About Niko

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Niko is a sweet boy at ~75lbs and ~1.5 yrs. He's fun, smart, loyal, and super playful! Everyone he meets, dogs and people, is his new best friend! He knows sit and lay down and is treat motivated. He loves to lean up to you for a good rear-end pet or an under-the-collar scratch. He loves to play in a pool, go for adventure, or romp around in a yard with a toy or a friend. He does not do well with cats and should not live with them. We don't know his history with kids, but we believe he would do well with proper introductions! He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $175 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
