LOCATION: Parkesburg, PA DOB:12/15/2024 Meet Lette, a beautiful Great Dane and Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and soulful eyes. She's a sweetheart through and through, just a little shy when meeting new people. Once she feels comfortable, her loving and playful side shines bright-she becomes the kind of dog who will curl up beside you and never want to leave your side. Lette has a wonderful balance of energy. She enjoys her walks, playing fetch, and spending time outside, but she also knows how to relax and unwind when it's time to rest. She loves her toys, gets along well with other dogs, and would be happiest in a home with a canine friend to help her feel confident. She's also great with cats, giving them the space and respect they deserve. This sweet girl is fully house-trained, does well in her crate, and knows her basic commands. She even lets her foster trim her nails and give her baths without a fuss. On walks, she's learning to stay focused and calm, and with gentle guidance, she's improving every day. Lette can be nervous with new people or in unfamiliar situations-she tends to hang back and bark until she feels safe-but patience and kindness go a long way with her. Once she trusts you, she's incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and loyal. Her foster says her favorite thing is snuggling up at bedtime-Lette loves to 'go to bed with daddy' and thinks she's a lap dog despite her size! Because of her timid nature, Lette would do best in a calm home with a fenced yard and people who can give her the time and space she needs to adjust. She's still young and has so much potential to grow into a confident, loving companion.
