About Boots

Meet Boots Boots! This long haired beauty is so darned gorgeous and soooo sweet. We believe she may have some Maine Coon in her because of her long hair, fluffy ears and big, active feet. One of her kittens also looks very much like a Maine Coon. Boots has been through a lot in her young life. She's about a year old. When she came in with her three gorgeous kittens her lower lip was torn away from her jaw. It was terribly infected and she was in so much pain. After getting her to our vet, put on antibiotics and lots of rest, Boots has become one of the friendliest kitties. She is hard to get a picture of because she just wants to be with you, following you around. She's constantly making biscuits and looking for a scratch, and she loves to get up on her back legs to get more scratches. If you are looking for an affectionate, sweet, outgoing and lovely kitty, Boots is exceptional. Such a love! Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
