About Dusty

Dusty !! Dusty is a Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix and what a lovely little he pup is. As he's warming up to his new foster home he's showing a calm, confident, and curious spirit. He loves adults and kids alike, although that constantly wagging tail might be a bit dangerous to the wee ones that are at his same level! Dusty is getting exposed to all the wonders of the big world in his foster home. He does well with all dogs he's met and has shown no interest in cats, ducks, goats, or cows. He helped his foster parents build their fence with little reaction to the noisy power tools. Dusty went to a herding lesson and got to try out sheep! Some would say he failed�'�| but with a different mindset we actually see it as a HUGE success (so do the sheep). Want to herd with him? He probably could learn! - but that might be akin to teaching an Afghan agility (sorry Afghan dog lovers). Don't want to herd with him??? That's ok, because he obviously doesn't have that strong instinct to work sheep. Dusty sleeps quietly all night in the crate with no accidents (10pm-6:45am-ish). Dusty is about 3.5 months old and is presently being fostered in Renton Washington. He is up to date on his vaccinations and has been wormed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.
