Joan Jett is one of 11 adorable puppies rescued from a heartbreaking situation in a field in Bakersfield, CA. A kindhearted good Samaritan found the entire litter-five boys and six girls-alone, with no mama dog in sight. They were clearly far too young to survive on their own. At just around five to six weeks old, Joan Jett is already showing her rockstar spirit. She's playful, curious, and full of love, despite the rough start she's had. Her exact breed is unknown, but she seems to be a mixed breed and will likely grow into a medium-sized dog. Right now, she's just a sweet baby who deserves a safe place to land and a loving home. She has been parvo tested (negative), vaccinated, dewormed, and is now flea-free and healthy. Joan Jett, along with her siblings, is in urgent need of fosters and adopters who can give them the care and affection they need to thrive. If you're able to open your heart and home to this little girl-or one of her brothers or sisters-you'll be making a life-changing difference.
