Meet Tux - The Sweetest Surprise on the Streets While out doing community service for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) work in Miami, we came across a colony of 14 feral cats. All were wild and skittish, just as expected-but then there was him. Curled up and quiet, we weren't sure if he was even alive at first. But as we gently reached down, this tiny tuxedo kitten looked at me, started purring, and practically melted into our arms. No hissing, no scratching-just soft snuggles and the kind of sweetness that makes your heart ache. We couldn't believe it. Among a group of true street survivors, Tux stood out like a beacon of gentleness. He was clearly never meant for life on the streets. He craves human affection, leans in for every pet, and greets you with purrs that could melt the toughest heart. Tux is about 6 months old and as loving and docile as they come. It would be heartbreaking to return this tender soul to the streets. He deserves the warmth of a home, a cozy bed, and a family who will love him as much as he'll love them in return. If you're looking for a cuddle bug with a soft purr and an even softer heart, Tux is ready to meet you. Let's give this sweet boy the life he was meant to have. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on an animal in need of a living home. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections. There is jist no way I can turn my back on this little fella. My goal is to make sure Tux finds a final forever loving home. He needs to go to a home where he will be INDOORS ONLY. My goal is to make sure I get Tux the home that he needs and deserves with someone who will love him and give him all the care and attention and affection that he deserves for the rest of his life and be able to be committed to him physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. The best thing I could possibly do for Tux is to find him a forever loving home where he will be happy ..'Till death do you part'. . I have made the commitment to Tux to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs and deserves. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best forever home with one who will love him for the rest of his long life ahead....an individual, couple or family who will continue to let us know how wonderfully he is doing. Tux is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, on prevention and microchipped (and microchip remains in my name indefinitely for his safety...more than happy to explain) & if u adopt him, you MUST keep him on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines.
