About WILFORD

Wilford is ready for adoption. We will not paint a picture of the perfect pet. He is old and set in his ways. He has come a long way with his behavior. With patience and love, he has proven that he can be a sweet pet in the right situation. He loves me and wants to live here forever. He doesn't really like to meet new people. Wilford can play with other dogs, but he is a very selective. He likes confident, larger pups. He is on the dominant side and may bully a smaller, submissive pup. Slow introductions in a large area will be ideal. He did well in a small group of dogs during daycare. He enjoyed playtime. Wilford would also be quite fine as an only dog. He may even prefer it. He doesn't seem to mind cats either, so that is a plus. He is not as fond of men as he is of women. I would not recommend him with young children. He should probably nap in a closed bedroom if strangers come over. Wilford is doing great with potty training. He does well in his crate and on a leash.
