At just 1 year old, Mylah is a beautiful young Bernese Mountain Dog. Life is still a little overwhelming for this sweet pup, but she gaining confidence and starting to trust alittle more each day. Timid and sensitive, Mylah is still learning about the world. New sights, sounds, and people can be a bit scary, each day she feels more secure and accepting pets and even has happy zoomies in the mornings. Mylah would do best in a calm, patient home-ideally with someone who understands shy dogs and can help build confidence slowly and kindly. A steady routine, soft encouragement, and lots of love will go a long way. She does walk on a leash hesitantly, is crate trained, is doing great with house training but is easily frightened so an adult home or one with older children would be best. She would love another dog to learn from. Mylah has been diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and will require surgery. She currently does have a limp but currently does not seem to be in pain. She will not come spayed and it will be responsibility of adopter. She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
