About Bowie

Meet Bowie! This adorable 5.5-month-old Toy Poodle is a black-and-white bundle of energy, love, and fluff. He currently weighs just 5 pounds and is expected to be around 6-8 pounds fully grown. With his sweet face and constant wagging tail, Bowie wins hearts everywhere he goes. Bowie was surrendered to rescue after a heart murmur was detected during a routine exam. An echocardiogram revealed a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) and early signs of heart failure-but thanks to lifesaving surgery and excellent vet care, he's made a full recovery! He still takes a daily heart medication (Pimobendan) and will need a follow-up cardiac exam in 3-4 months to ensure continued healing. Now that he's feeling great, Bowie is soaking up life. He's playful, energetic, and loves nothing more than chasing toys-especially balls-around the backyard. He's a total Velcro pup who wants to be with his person 24/7. Snuggling is his love language, and he's happiest curled up next to you (preferably in your bed, not a kennel). If you're looking for a pint-sized shadow to follow you everywhere, Bowie is your guy. He's social, friendly, and always excited to meet new people. He's working on potty training and learning daily routines like a champ.
