About Donut

We are posting with great sadness.. unfortunately Donut is more suitable in a household of adults and we have 3 young boys. We adopted him from this website a year ago and fell in love with him quickly. He has really taken to my husband and I - very loyal and obedient, great off leash, loves to be outdoors, camping, loves other dogs, is not at all dominant. However, he bit a child in our neighborhood. Although the bite was mild and a dog toy was involved, Donut has had other questionable behavior towards kids as well (growling, nipping). As much as we truly love this dog, we feel it would be unwise to keep him and wait for something worse to happen. He is healthy, cuddly, and not too hyper active. We hope the perfect home is out there.
