I have a 2-1/2 year old German Shepherd/Belgian Mallinois cross that I adopted 2 weeks ago. However, I cannot keep her because she chases my 3 cats and would, I am sure, kill them if she got ahold of one. The person I adopted her from said that she got along with his 3 cats, but she was raised as a puppy with them. She sees my cats as prey. I think that even if I could train her not to chase the cats, I could never actually trust her that she would not go after them. The man I adopted her from is in the military and will be deployed soon, so he cannot take her back. The dog is not good with other dogs, cats, or children, but she would make an excellent guard dog. ��%BD%A0She is current on all vaccinations and her health is very good. In her first home, she got very little training. She knew none of the basic commands. In the 2 weeks I have had her, she knows sit, stay, come, and heel and she now walks on a leash quite well. She is not 100% yet on any of the commands, but I am impressed with how fast she learns. At the present time, I must keep the dog on a leash at all times when she is in the house. Can you take this dog as a surrender?
