Meet Whiskey - A Noble German Shepherd Looking for His Forever Family Whiskey is a truly special boy with a story that speaks to resilience, loyalty, and new beginnings. At just 1 %BD years old, this stunning male German Shepherd weighs about 90 lbs and carries himself with a calm, confident presence. He is not just a dog; he's a companion with a serious yet gentle character - the kind of dog who looks straight into your soul. Whiskey is excellent with other dogs and does wonderfully with children, though due to his size, a home without very small kids would be ideal. Cats are an unknown, but it's safest to say he would do best in a cat-free home. This handsome boy is house trained, well-behaved, and doesn't bark unless he's irritated - a true gentleman. He loves routine: Whiskey goes to bed early, sleeps peacefully through the night, and enjoys one treat before bedtime (it's his nightly ritual!). He is obedient, calm, and has a steady temperament - the perfect mix of intelligence and loyalty. Whiskey's background is just as remarkable as he is. His American mother and Israeli father were champion dogs who excelled in competitions. Sadly, his original owner faced a series of hardships - losing his business and going through a messy divorce - and had to rehome Whiskey's parents to a kind couple. What no one realized was that Whiskey's mother was pregnant at the time. The couple has cared for Whiskey with love, but due to HOA restrictions, they're now seeking a forever home that can give him the life he deserves. Whiskey is more than ready to become someone's loyal protector, buddy, and best friend. If you're looking for a devoted companion with brains, beauty, and heart, Whiskey might just be the one. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections. When they came to me for help to find Whiskey the home he needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and it was important to me that he was carefully and properly placed. My goal is to make sure Whiskey finds a final forever loving home. If you are in a home, please privacy fences only...no chainlink/see through fences. My goal is to make sure I get Whiskey the home that he needs and deserves with someone who will love him and give him all the care and attention and affection that he deserves for the rest of his life and be able to be committed to him physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. The best thing I could possibly do for Whiskey is to find him a forever loving home where he will be happy ..'Till death do you part'. . I have made the commitment Whiskey to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs and deserves. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best forever home with one who will love him for the rest of his long life ahead....an individual, couple or family who will continue to let us know how wonderfully he is doing. Whiskey will be your best friend. Will you be his?? I am looking to find the perfect person / couple / family who will give him as much as he deserves. HE IS THE FRIEND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER...WILL YOU LOVE HIM?
