About ROCKY

Adoption Fee: $400
Pomeranian
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

ROCKY is a 6-year-old, 6.4 pound Pomeranian who came to us as an owner surrender. He is an adorable little dog with a sweet personality to match. If you're looking for a loyal little companion who just wants to be by your side, ROCKY would love to meet you! He loves pets, sitting on laps, and going for stroller rides with his foster siblings at the mall. He follows his foster mom all around the house and stands on his back legs to ask for affection or treats. In the time that he has been in his foster home, he went from a little shy to being a Velcro dog. He's going to be best in a home where his family can spend a lot of time with him. ROCKY is good with other small dogs and loves having a furry friend to share his days with. His experience with kids and cats is unknown, but his shy, friendly nature means he just needs a little time to warm up and feel safe. Because he has not been tested with children and he is a little guy we would prefer a home with older kids if there are any in the family. At night, ROCKY sleeps peacefully in the kitchen with his foster's male Pom. He would likely love to be snuggled up with his person if given the opportunity. He is doing well with his potty training and is a good eater. ROCKY has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, has had a dental, is heartworm negative, has had a 12 month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida.
