About Mia - kennel stress

Urgent Alert: Mia, A2208123!!!! Hello my name is Mia A2208123. I am about 2 years old, a female/spayed german shepherd mixed breed dog. Weight: 61 lbs, owner surrendered: moved. Showing FAS (fear, anxiety, stress), volunteers able to take out for play yard but not kenneling well & showing high kennels stress!! Animals in our care are struggling and are being placed on urgent alert because they need more out-of-kennel enrichment and socialization with people and other pets. These pets are available for adoption and foster through LAAS, but they are decompensating emotionally and physically. Long-term sheltering is not an option for these pets without significant improvement in their emotional and physical well-being. Dogs on this list end up being moved to the euthanasia list within a short time!!!
