About Pickles

Pickles is a healthy, fit and active Pembrok Welsh Corgi with a great smile and even better ears. We have had him since 2015, and yes, he's 10, but he's showing no sign of slowing down, (no long term health problems throughout his life). He's had three levels of obedience classes, rings a bell to go potty, listens well, and is smart as a whip. We are moving and, while the house we're in right now is manageable for the space he needs, we can't guarantee that for him going forward. He needs to be in a home with adults with no kids, and no other dogs or cats. (When kids do come visit us, he's crate trained and spends time there, safely. He actually goes into the crate by himself sometimes when his rottweiler sister annoys him.) I'd bet he has another ten years left in him and I hope he can find a happy new home with someone that could use a smart, snuggly, determined, curious and attentive doggy. For temperament, we selected 'Average' because with other dogs, cats, and kids - no, he gets aggressive. But with adults he's the sweetest, loving, snuggly thing ever.
