About Iris

Iris is a Giant Schnauzer who is very loving and companionable dog. She has been great with our children. She loves playing fetch and tummy rubs. She does feel the need to protect the family from strangers though and with a busy sidewalk out front of our home this has proven problematic ( she ripped somebody's pants recently ). We are hoping somebody will be able to adopt her who does not have such a busy front lawn so she can feel relaxed and not think she needs to be protective. She also struggles with having her legs and feet groomed (we suspect she was hurt at the groomer and have since been grooming her at home). Re-homing Iris has been a hard decision because she's such a good girl and is much loved by all in our household.
