About Zappa

Can you even believe how handsome this good boy is? His looks are only surpassed by his sharp mind, adoration of snuggles and deep loyalty to his humans. Zappa enjoys basking in the sun, doing training and tricks (wait till you see his response to 'where's your belly?'!!!), and ending his day with ample couch cuddles. All he wants is to bring joy to his dearest people and be the best boy. Sometimes other dogs and cats get in the way of that so Zappa prefers life as an only pet and doesn't like meeting new dogs on walks. He'll do best in a home with a fenced in yard (or in a rural setting) and in a home without small children (thus why we are very sadly needing to rehome this beloved boy!). While Zappa loves being right near his humans when they are home, he also enjoys quiet time alone. And speaking of quiet��%BD'��%BD| Zappa's arch nemeses are fireworks and other loud sounds (probably thanks to those big beautiful ears!) so he will be a great match for a family that also enjoys a quieter pace of life. This 6 year old handsome fella is also house trained, leash trained, up to date on all vaccines, neutered and ready for his new home! While there is no adoption fee, we ask for a donation of $50-$200 to the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association.
