About Blue

Blue is an almost 3 year old Chocolate Lab with a sweet soul and a lot of love to give. Blue came to us with his brother Red after their owner sadly passed away. While they grew up together, Blue and Red have very different personalities and are not a bonded pair. Blue is ready to find a home of his own. Blue is a people-loving pup who thrives on attention and affection. He does wonderfully with both adults and children and is happiest when surrounded by those who love to cuddle. His favorite spot is the couch. He's currently being treated for Lyme and Anaplasma (two tick-borne diseases) with a course of doxycycline. Health-wise, Blue is also working on slimming down from his current 87 pounds and making great progress on his diet. This gentle guy would be just as happy being your one-and-only dog as he would living with another calm, respectful pup. He would like a physically fenced yard where he can enjoy some safe outdoor time and stretch his legs. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be your shadow and soak up all the love you have to give, Blue is your guy! Blue is house trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested.
