Casper and Ziggy are two sweet, easygoing Chiweenie brothers with hearts full of love and tails that wag in perfect unison. At 7 and 8 years old, they found themselves in rescue after their elderly owner passed away. These mellow gentlemen are a bonded pair who have spent their lives side by side, and they're ready to find a forever home together where they can keep living the good life. They're so in sync; it's almost like having one dog with two times the love! These two move through life as a single, gentle unit, always by each other's side. Casper and Ziggy are the definition of low-maintenance companions: content to lounge by your side, curl up in cozy blankets, and follow you from room to room. They love short walks, soft beds, basking in the sun, and of course, unlimited pets. Both boys recently underwent major dental extractions, with Casper losing all of his teeth and Ziggy keeping 3 canines, so they're now feeling better than ever! With their dental issues behind them, they're ready to enjoy a new chapter filled with comfort and love. Their gummy grins only add to their charm, and they're pros at eating softened food. Casper is slightly older and more independent of the two, while Ziggy tends to be the more cuddly one. Casper is curious and loves a good outdoor sniff session. Ziggy will remind you that he's patiently awaiting pets with a couple gentle taps of his paw. Together, they're the perfect balance of laid-back companionship and affectionate loyalty. The brothers had been house trained to a doggy door, but do not have that in their foster home, so a schedule is necessary. Ziggy does very well, but Casper still has an accident from time to time. They are very polite with other calm dogs. They'd thrive in a quiet home where someone is home more often than not, as they do not enjoy being crated or alone. Casper and Ziggy aren't interested in the chaos of a busy lifestyle - they're looking for someone who appreciates the slower moments in life.
