About Rainey

Rainey's journey to safety spans more than 400 miles, a path lined with acts of kindness that saved her life. The two-year-old German Shepherd found herself on 'the list' at an overcrowded shelter, where time was running short. When All Shepherd Rescue (ASR) volunteers heard her story, they sprang into action, determined to give Rainey a second chance. Rainey is a sweet, affectionate, and energetic German Shepherd who wasrecently returned to All Shepherd Rescue through no fault of her own. Sometimes even the best dogs don't find the perfect fit on the first try-Rainey struggled with jealousy toward a senior dog in the home and is now looking for a fresh start as the only dog or with the right canine companion. This beautiful girl is full of love and playful spirit. She bonds closely with her people, enjoys attention, and thrives with structure and activity. Rainey would be a wonderful match for an active adopter who can give her the affection and leadership she craves. Friendly, affectionate, and full of life, she brings warmth to everyone around her.
