About Ladybird

Lady is a 4 year old female beagle who came to us from a local shelter. Upon intake, Lady was very pregnant, to which she had to eventually have a c-section. In her foster home, she has learned so much to what the good life is all about! We learned from the shelter that she had been previously tied to a tree and kept outside. That life is behind her now, permanently! Lady is now thriving! She has weaned her babies and now the focus can be on her new life. Lady has done great with housebreaking, crate training and leash walking - though she does tend to pull a bit with excitement. With that, Lady will be enrolled in the 'cell dog' training program where she will be working on perfecting the basics: additional crate training, leash walking and general obedience. She does well with other dogs, and dog educated children. Lady loves to be around men and seems to enjoy their company, though she does well with other gals, too! She has been around cats and did well with them. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members.
