About Lasagna

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1. Prefers to be an only dog. 2. Adult only home. 3-year-old female Manchester Terrier/Min Pin mix, about 16 pounds. 'La La Lasagna Pasta Face', as her foster calls her, is a sweet and loyal girl. She loves to cuddle and follow you around the house. She is timid with new people but warms up quickly. She does fine with other dogs that ignore her, and she tends to stick to herself in the yard. But she is very protective of HER person and doesn't want other dogs nearby. So being an only dog in the house will suit her just fine. Or you can train her to stop being a bozo and share! She can scale a 4-foot fence, but not to run away, just to find another way into the house when HER human is inside. She will go out to do her business and want to come right back in to snuggle or play. She has some energy and would love to go for a walk. It is likely that a cat might get chased and she really needs to be in an adult only home. To request an adoption application, email [email protected] Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
