Sweet oversized lap dog. He's very calm except when he wants to play tug of war. He loves treats and training games. He wants to make you happy. Morning walk, breakfast, chill. Evening walk, dinner sleep. Somehwre in there is at least 30 minutes of play, and he loves tug of war and fetch. He's great with kids, very gentle. Does well in active households, best in a house with a yard or 2 walks a day. Sit Wait (functions as stay, used a lot on walks especially before crossing the street) Lay down Roll over Drop it Paw (and Other Paw) With me (functions as Heel, gets him to slow down and walk next to you or catch up and follow you) Go Lay Down (must be loaded, will go and lay down in a designated spot of your choosing) Enough/too much (when he's getting a little too rowdy and needs to chill TF out) Get in your crate (crate him EVERY TIME you leave the house) Leave it (leave something alone, don't chase that, ignore something) No (used as a catch all, he understands this word means you're unhappy with what he's doing) Yes/good boy (positive catch all) OK (release word for all commands he must hold an action on like 'wait') Gentle/baby voice will not work on him for negative things. If you are unhappy with his behavior you need to make him aware. Firm assertive commands go a long way and positive reinforcement with treats (I usually just use a handful of his kibble) will ma ke a huge difference in if he listens to you and takes you seriously. He is still in his teenager phase, he will try to test the boundaries. Make sure he KNOWS what you want, if he thinks he can get away with something he's gonna try until he makes you mad, then he'll be upset he made you mad
