Meet Titu - a sweet, soulful Rottie with eyes that speak of heartache, but still shimmer with hope. This post is going out with a prayer - that the right angel sees this and says 'Yes, that's my boy.' Why Is Everyone Overlooking Titu? Currently on Long Island, NY - available to surrounding areas CT, NJ , PA Titu is one of the many in desperate need currently in our care. He needs his forever. Our intake remains closed, and we are at risk of shutting our doors permanently-not just because of the financial strain, but because of the heartbreaking lack of committed fosters and adopters stepping up. We don't understand how Titu keeps getting passed by. It's just not fair. This gorgeous big teddy bear doesn't ask for much-he simply wants to love and be loved. That's it. Titu is about 6 years old and 120 lbs of pure heart. He's been through so much, spending 5 out of his 6 years living outside. Yet, despite the neglect, he still believes in people. He still wants to trust. And he still has so much love to give. But he's trying. And he's come so far. While we wish we could say he's great with other dogs or cats, the truth is, we haven't been able to test him. Given all he's endured, we believe he'd be happiest as your one and only-soaking up all the love for himself, as he so deeply deserves.
