URGENT!!! GROVEPORT, OHIO . (willing to drive up to ANYWHERE IN OHIO ). 6.5 Y/O FEMALE SHEPHERD MIX (DOB: 7/2/19 ). Her name is 'LUNA '. Background: The Current Shepherd Parent rescued Luna 2 years ago from an Abusive environment where she was forced to live in a kennel 24/7 for the first 4.5 years of her life. NOT UTD on shots WITHOUT record. Fixed. Good with kids. UNKNOWN with dogs. Good with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained. Does not need and because of her Abuse History, she needs to be able to Free Roam the home and not to be crated. She has good behavior when left out alone, but is a Power Chewer, so just have all of her safe chew toys/bones out for her. Any known medical issues?: NO. HIGH ENERGY?:YES . HIGH PREY DRIVE?:YES . Currently on PURINA ONE TRUE INSTINCT food. Weighs lbs. Good with car rides?:YES . Loves: chew toys - playing fetch - cuddling - going on walks - chilling on the couch - balls - sleeping in bed with her person - being near her person - chewing. Socialized with other dogs and/or people?: NO. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): UNKNOWN . *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?:YES . *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH):NO . *Good on a Leash?:OK . *Lovable?:VERY . *Eager and fast learner?: YES. *Food/Treat/Toy Motivated?: YES Luna is a very good Guard Dog. She is very sweet and lovable to her people. Re Homing because�'�|: Luna keeps attacking the Current Shepherd Parent's senior Female dog. It is unknown how Luna reacts to other dogs because she has never been outside of the home and socialized. Will thrive best�'�|?: Someone who will understand and help Luna with her Abuse History and not crate her. Someone who is home a lot to help Luna work through her issues. Preferably someone Breed Experienced who can help socialize her outside of the home. It is UNKNOWN if Luna is good with other dogs, so if you do have other dogs in the home, it is preferred that you are Breed Experienced and able to handle any situation that may.
