About Blinkin

Blinkin is a Sarplaninac (Illyrian Shepherd) - a breed so rare she is not in any drop down menu. Based on 30 years of TM rescue she is very close to her TM roommates. Blink came to us as a neglect/abuse case. She was in bad shape because of a trash prior owner - too bad such quasi-people exist. We cleaned her up, put some good weight on her, and had her spayed. She is a tall old lady, about 120 lb, very gentle, and the entire pack loves her. We were initially willing to adopt Blink out but now she is the pack granny. But if a perfect home - as in acreage in RSF, Encinitas, or comparable with weekly+ trips to the beach and a loving family wanted her - that might work. She loves everyone except our rambunctious young Rufus who sometimes runs her over - he has 40 lb on her, loves to run fast, and is built like a tank.
