Blinkin is a Sarplaninac (Illyrian Shepherd) - a rare, ancient guardian breed. She is good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, everyone likes her. Blink came to us as a neglect/abuse case on 09/25. She was starved, filthy, and covered in wounds. We cleaned her up, put some good weight on her, and had her spayed. The entire pack loves Blink - even the mini schnauzer. Was initially willing to adopt her but now she is the pack granny. The only dog she doesn't gel with is young Rufus - he tries but she is rough on him.
