Just minutes from being out of time, this brindle beauty was rescued, and his second chance began. Ember (affectionately known as Bear or Care Bear) is the very definition of a gentle soul. When he first arrived, he was scared of everything-leashes, collars, people. But with patience and love, he blossomed. Now, he wears his harness with quiet confidence and walks on a leash like a pro. He's gone from trembling in fear to quietly leaning against his foster mom for comfort. This sweet boy is crate trained, fully house trained (not a single accident!), and incredibly low energy. He's not one for zoomies or chaos-Ember's favorite activity is simply being next to his human. He's happiest when he has a calm companion, whether that's another dog or someone who works from home and can spend time with him. He does have a touch of separation anxiety, but honestly, it's just because he loves so deeply. Ember gets along beautifully with kids of all ages and is a peaceful presence in the home. Once he trusts you, he'll be your constant companion-your quiet shadow, your soft-hearted snuggle buddy, your loyal friend.
