HILDEGARD, A2186370, SPAYED FEMALE, 3 YEARS OLD, BLACK AND BROWN GERMAN SHEPHERD, 62 POUNDS. Scheduled Euthanasia Date: 07/11/2025!!! This animal has been at the shelter since 03/08/2025 and on this list since 07/05/2025. Reason for euthanasia: Hildegard has been in shelter for 119 days with no adoption or rescue interest. Hildegard has been displaying signs of FAS (fear anxiety stress)!since being brought to the shelter. Hildegard is wary of handlers, fearful and nervous in her kennel, and avoidant of people. Once adopted or rescued Hildegard may need time to decompress. Around other dogs Hildegard fluctuates between being tolerant and selective, she has consistently been anxious while interacting with them. She can also be flighty when around other dogs and may benefit from being in a one dog household with adults that have experience with dogs that hold her type of demeanor. We are unable to supply Hildegard with the resources she needs and keeping her in shelter is inhumane. Hildegard should be adopted or rescued as soon as possible to prevent any further deterioration.
