About Carrie

We are looking to rehome our 1 year 2 month old German Shepard. We rescued her as a puppy but not knowing her background or her parents unfortunately we have learned she is reactive to people she doesnt know. We both work 40+ hours a week and with reactivity we don't feel safe with her around our 5 year old alone. She has never once hinted at hurting him or my husband or myself. She is actually very protective and loving to us. She's just nervous around strangers. We unfortunately have alot of children around since we have a child and we just don't think that is the best situation for her nervousness. She's super smart. She's house trained, crate trained, and invisible fence trained. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, etc. She is high energy as most puppy GSD are so having a yard to run around in is a must...definitely not an apartment dog. She has true potential but with our jobs and child we just don't have the time to focus on her like she deserves. We want her to go to a loving home...we are trying everything before contacting rescues and shelters. She is spayed and we have records of all shots including rabies.
