About Kobe

I have a 65lb neutered male 4yo mountain cur mix that I'm needing to rehome and didn't know if you guys knew of someone or could point me in any direction. I rescued him at 10mos old. He seems to have been abused as he has some anxiety and is skittish around men. He will usually only come out of his cage for me so he needs a female in the house. He has never been mean or aggressive towards my son or husband just afraid. He hates being outside by himself so may do better in a home with other pets. He has now started digging under a broken space in my fence when I put him outside. He hasn't left the property yet when he does it he just goes to the front of the house. I have put things in front of that area in the fence but he just moves it and goes under. I can't have him roaming free in my neighborhood and I can't leave him locked in his cage all day either as I work 12 hour shifts and like I said he won't come out for anyone but me. His cage is definitely his safe space but I can't leave him in it all the time. He can't free roam my house because the amount of hair he sheds. He has been around my neighbors cat and did ok and has been around children 5 and up and does well. He's never been around anyone younger than that I don't think.
