About Brittney

Brittney (aka Brit Brat) is a 6 year old boxer/pitbull/bully mix. She is great with my toddler, she loves to snuggle and sleep in bed with her humans. I had only taken her in because she needed a home quickly or she would have been surrendered back to the shelter. I did not know much about her, I was told she is good with cats BUT she is not good with my scared cat. She strongly senses emotions so if something is scared of her, she wants to chase it. While she gets along with dogs, she's better off not living with any dogs at all as she wants all of the attention for herself. She is a leash puller, she was only used for breeding and never trained to walk properly on a leash. We are consistently working on that but she is strong and I don't recommend children or elderly hold her leash for that reason. She is muzzle trained. She's timid when she isn't familiar with her surroundings but once she warms up she's good. She is scared of bath time so she has to be lifted into the tub Great with nail clippings and no medical issues
