Name: Maylynn Age: @ 10 months old Breed: Catahoula, @ 40 pounds Sex: Female (not spayed) Location: Ellis County, Texas Poor Maylynn lost her home in a fire and now owners are homeless and can't care for her. Vet Info: Maylynn is not spayed or up to date on vaccinations. She has no microchip and is deaf and blind. She also has no current HW test. Past history unknown. As no medical history is available, it is believed that Maylynn's lack of hearing and sight is genetic. Dog Info: The family that has been taking care of Maylynn for her owners, after the fire, are unable to keep her due to one of their dogs being female reactive so they must find a home where Maylynn will be safe. Maylynn has been with them for about a month and she has proven to be housebroken and leash trained. She knows no commands. She has proven to be outgoing and sweet. Good with men, women, teens and younger children. She is good with both male and female dogs. Cats are an unknown because caretakers have no cats. Maylynn is not possessive with treats, toys or food and has not shown any sort of aggression. She adapted very quickly in her temporary home, it took her only two days to remember where the door was to go outside.
