Roselle (Stormy) is a brave and dignified young dog with a curious and independent spirit. She may be a little shy at first, but given time and patience, she will warm up to you and show you just how loving and loyal she can be. Roselle has proven to be protective of her four-legged friends and seems to have a special affinity for those who need extra care. She came into the shelter with a blind dog, and it was clear that she was protective and caring towards her friend. Roselle is a smart and curious dog who loves to explore and investigate her surroundings. She is always eager to learn new things. She may be a little nervous in new situations, but with some love and reassurance, she will feel right at home. Roselle is in need of a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and protected. She would do best in a calm and quiet home where she can continue to learn and grow. Due to her initial timidness, she would do best in a home with older children. She has not been tested with other dogs, but given her protective nature, it is possible she would do well with the right canine companion. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees:** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment:** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards please.
