Good with dogs and does best with a dog companion for his confidence. Cats unknown, child free home is needed. Murphy is the ultimate couch potato. He loves to snuggle, lay on the back of the couch, and watch the world roll by. He is the perfect low energy dude, but also has a super fun personality. He loves to 'meerkat' (sit on his hind legs) for attention, treats, or to ask to go outside. He's bouncy and silly when you instigate play, he loves a crinkle toy - he's a total character when he is in a comfortable environment. Due to his history as a breeder release, he does have some anxiety and baggage that comes with that. He does not like to be crated, and does not enjoy car rides, though he does tolerate both with medication. He would do best in a home without children - he prefers a calmer and more predictable lifestyle. He is housebroken but does mark territory, so does best with a bellyband. He is accustomed to being groomed, will walk on a leash, and in the right home is just an easy guy to live with and love.
