About Fabio

FABIO is a 5.5 month old, 14 pound Mini Poodle puppy surrendered because of his owner's health. This sweet, silly boy is all puppy and full of energy, curiosity, and love. FABIO is a social butterfly who absolutely adores playing with other dogs and can happily entertain himself with toys. But don't be fooled by his cuteness- when left to his own devices, he can also get into mischief! He is a puppy and needs supervision and lots of stimulation to keep him out of trouble. A home with another playful dog or two would be best for him, otherwise he's going to get bored and for this pup, bored spells trouble! FABIO knows no boundaries (literally and figuratively). He's a high-flying jumper who'll leap into your lap out of nowhere or clear pen fences with ease. He bounces through life with enthusiasm, giving kisses freely and soaking up all the attention you'll give. When his people come or go, FABIO gets so excited that he'll sometimes jump up and give little puppy nips. Because of this behavior, he is not a good fit for a home with small children until he's had some training to learn manners and boundaries. We have not had him around cats but guess that he would chase them. FABIO is still working on potty training and will need continued guidance and consistency. He's eager to learn and would thrive with a patient adopter committed to helping him grow into the amazing dog he's destined to be. FABIO sleeps in bed with his foster and is a great cuddler when it's time to wind down. If you're looking for a lovable, goofy, high-energy pup and have the time and energy to match, FABIO just might be your guy! FABIO has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has been started on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Please remember to check your spam folder for any communication from our team. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally.
