About Kaira

This cute little pixie is Kaira. She is a 2 years old Australian Cattle Dog who weighs 30 pounds. Kaira knows her basics: sit, down, stand, and stay. This smartie also knows tricks: roll over, shake, spin, twirl, will jump into your arms. She is house and crate trained. Kaira is a typical Cattle Dog who takes a moment to warm up to new people, then is comfortable. She isn't a fit for small kids or busy homes with lots of people coming and going. Kaira is good with other respectful dogs and would be fine living as an only dog or with a polite male dog. She is good with cats. Kaira is good in the car and good in leash. She is a good travel pal. She does get barky at some other dogs when on walks. She also isn't a fan of skateboards. Kaira loves to fetch. Kaira is a soulful girl and a wonderful companion. She enjoys off leash walks, doing whatever her person is doing, and then loves to jump into her person's arms to be held. She is sweet and huggy. Kaira does take Proin, which is inexpensive, for some incontinence. This is easy to manage and she doesn't have any potty issues in the house. Kaira is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Castaic, CA. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt. She is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt in SoCal.
