Boy am I a hoot! My foster spends at least one moment each day in hysterics at my goofiness, and I love to make her laugh. But I'm also a crazy lovebug who is as loyal as they come and just want to show my commitment and dedication to you by my body being near you or even on you. Who cares if I am 100 pounds? Nobody ever said there is a weight limit for a lap dog! If you like dogs you can train to do things, I will make you so darn proud! Making you happy and pleased is really important to me (It'll also hopefully include the likelihood that you'll a) reward me with treats and b) reward me with affection.), so I am all up for learning what you want to teach me. My most impressive trick right now is waiting for several minutes for you to say the special word for me to eat my food. You can say any other word, but if it is not the word I know for eating, then I will sit there and wait. And drool a pool! I'm extremely friendly with other dogs and can read cues very well. If a dog tells me to back off or take a hike, I just go on my way. I enjoy people, too, and am very fond of kids, who also are very fond of me. Car rides are such a treat and so are walks. I don't care about other dogs while on walks. I'm focused on the joy of moving my body. I go to the garden center with my foster and am such a gentleman. People are like a moth to a flame to me I am so well-behaved and adorable. I am crate-trained and enjoy being in there all quiet like a church mouse, patiently awaiting your return, though I am also non-destructive and am now left out when the foster is not at home. Water is a favorite of mine and is such a fun treat to splash around in and also to swim. I am a guy of many talents! When you let me know where I am supposed to go potty, I abide by your wishes and don't have accidents in the house. My ideal home would have a very affectionate and kind human who gets me out for at least one 30-minute walk a day and who allows me to sleep in the bed at night. Being close to you is very important and will bring me the greatest joy in my life. Likewise, being allowed on the furniture makes my heart happy and makes me feel like family, which is how I see myself. I'm 2 years old and fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. If you think we could be lifelong mates, then please contact my foster so we can meet and see if we are a match!
