This red Australian Cattledog is Bo. He was born November 8th, 2021. He weighs 40 pounds. Bo knows his basics: Come, Sit, Shake. He is also house and crate trained. Bo is nice with men, women, and older kids. He gets too excited around small kids so is better in a home without small kids (though he lives with small kids now). Bo is good with other dogs, large and small, as long as the first meeting is on neutral ground (not Bo's property). After that, he is fine. He just likes to know the dog before they enter his space. Then, he does like to play. We think Bo would be good with herder savvy cats because he is good with with chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits. Bo is good on leash, and he walks politely past other dogs. He is also good in the car and would love to go places with his person. Bo adores fetching. He would fetch all day long if possible. Bo isn't a fit for city life, but would be fine in a quiet neighborhood. He will let you know if someone comes to the door, so nobody will sneak up on you. He would also be great for hiking, camping, or as a fishing buddy. Bo is definitely best friend material. When all of the day's fun is done, He loves to cuddle. He is a typical Cattle Dog in that he appreciates having a person who gives affection and plays fetch. He is up for whatever you are up for, and ready to chill when you are. Bo is neutered. He is located in Bonita, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
